In the hall of Vatroslav Lisinski, on May 13, 2022, a graduation ceremony promoting the graduates of Zagreb School of Business was held – the 16th generation of bachelors of Marketing and Communications, the 7th generation of professional specialists in Marketing and Communications, the 3rd generation of bachelors of Management and Production in Culture and the 2nd generation of bachelors Supply chain management.
The promoters were the dean doc. dr. sc. Lukša Lulić, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Mobility dr. sc. Željka Zavišić and Vice Dean for Scientific and Professional Work Dorotea Milas, M.Sc. Phil. et mag. rel.
The ceremonial promotion was led by Ivan Vrdoljak, and the musical part of the ceremony was enhanced by Vanda Winter, accompanied on the piano by maestro Berislav Antica. On behalf of students of all generations, Ana Marguerite Tomulić held an emotional speech.
In the introductory speech, the dean doc. dr. sc. Lukša Lulić, in his inspiring and motivating speech, pointed out: “The famous Delphic instruction, which was a kind of Socrates’ motto of knowing oneself, can be taken as the foundation of man’s self-construction. When you see the unknowable, it means ‘you know you don’t know; when ‘you know you don’t know, then you have self-awareness; when you have self-awareness, then ‘you are what you are’. And when you accomplished all three, then you ‘knew yourself’”. He congratulated all the graduates on their academic achievements and successes.
