As part of the elective course “Niche Tourism”, on Thursday, November 27, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, we will host lecturer Ivana Đuroković. Ivana has a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy (VŠMOD, Zagreb) with more than 20 years of experience traveling and working in the tourism industry. Over the years, she has visited more than 60 countries around the world. She has many years of experience working with people and analyzing different cultures, and is a consultant for intercultural communication and the owner of the company “Putujmo”. Ivana’s travels include various exotic destinations and unique cultures, and she will show us how “Niche Tourism” creates special opportunities for research and connecting with local communities. We will travel to different cultures, learn about their specificities, listen to the differences that connect and amaze us, how the forbidden becomes the main reason for visiting a country, and why traveling enriches us, broadens our horizons, and makes our lives more beautiful!
