Digital political marketing strategist Marijan Palić will talk to students of the Zagreb Polytechnic about the impact of digital platforms and emotions in political campaigns.
Political marketing expert Marijan Palić will reveal to students of the Zagreb Polytechnic how to win in the era of chaos using the example of his own successful projects and political campaigns. In an era when algorithms decide what we see, read and believe – the truth becomes just another piece of information that must be filtered through the noise. A guest lecture entitled “How to Win in the Era of Chaos: It Doesn’t Matter What the Truth Is, What Matters Is That the Algorithm Survives” will be held as part of the course “Public Relations Management Strategy” taught by our external lecturer Gordan Turković, on 3.12.2025. at 5 pm. During the lecture, Palić will give students answers to the questions of how digital platforms shape public discourse, why emotions have more power than facts, and how political campaigns use (or lose) the battle for perception. He will also share with the audience the challenges he faced in various campaigns. It will be particularly interesting to hear how his innovative coverage of the World Handball Championship in Qatar on social media helped him win the SPORTO Media Award 2015.
