“My time in Croatia is very nice. First of all, the climate is much more pleasant than in Germany. That´s why I can spend a lot of time outdoors. During the week, I like to stroll through downtown Zagreb. There is always something to see. Going for a coffee has a completely different meaning there. All the cafes are nicely decorated, and the prices are very low. You get a glass of water with every cup of coffee. Even when the city is crowded, there is no rush. Life seems so easy. Nobody rushes to queue at the cash register. When packing your bags, you can take the time you need. Does that sound good? Absolutely! But it cannot even be compared to the life at the coast. Sometimes I spend the weekend there. You can also book an apartment in autumn or winter for little money. The cities right by the sea, such as Split, Trogir, Sibenik and many more, are beautiful. But if you really want peace and quiet and love nature, you should visit the islands. The season is already over and because of coronavirus, there are very few people. It´s just relaxing and you can just leave everyday life behind. It can never get boring in Croatia. There are countless sights, but also a lot of nature. There is city life as well as the sea. There is something for everyone.”
