“As soon as I arrived on the Croatian territory, I have been warmly welcomed by my Erasmus coordinator, Neven Sipic. The many coffees with him and my schoolmates the next day made me realize the first difference between our cultures: Croatia knows and likes to introduce foreign people to its traditions and habits.
I’ve been also surprised by the number of Erasmus students in the city, (when the bars were open) at night, we had the opportunity to exchange with hundreds of people with many different nationalities, which was really enriching. Learning the basics of Croatian language helps me to feel more and more integrated in the country, to understand better things and to communicate easier with the citizens. Finally, the many trips on the coast that we took made me realize the luck that I had to be in this part of the world in these times. They were the most beautiful landscapes that I have ever seen in my life.
